The Student Academic Literacy Tool (SALT) has been constructed to aid students in improving the standard of their academic writing at University. The tool is organised as a checklist, where students are able to learn about, gain confidence in and tick off each of the criteria needed to attain a standard of writing that will be accepted within University. We recognise that within University, there are a number of students with a range of abilities and we hope to have covered as many of these abilities as possible.
SALT was one of the Summer Of Student Innovation winners, a Jisc programme developed with our strategic partners across higher education, further education and skills.
